Stuck? Use These Tarot Cards to Get Unstuck and Take Action

A few weeks ago we took a look at rest and tarot.  This week, we’re going to look at action!

Sometimes, we look around ourselves and notice that we’re stuck.  And sometimes action, any action at all, seems preferable to staying that way.  There are some tarot cards that can help with that!

Place these cards on your altar as the centerpiece for a spell or ritual, or if you have a spare pocket deck that you don’t mind separating, carry one with you.

8 of Wands

This is the best minor arcana card for movement and action.  It’s pure energy in a card.  If you need to move forward on something, this is the card for you!

The Chariot

This is the best major arcana card for movement.  The Chariot is full speed ahead, action and energy.  But since this is a major arcana card, its energy is a little stronger and more life-changing than the 8 of Wands.  Decide which one is better for your situation.

6 of Swords and 8 of Cups

Both of these cards signify moving away from something old and toward something new.  The 6 of Swords is more about moving away from turbulence into something more peaceful and calm  The 8 of Cups is more about moving away from something that you’ve built, but that doesn’t suit you anymore, and moving toward something new and inspiring.

3 of Wands

When you see this card, you know that you’re building something strong, but it can also signify travel.  Just as the figure on a RWS-based deck looks out into the harbor at the ships coming in, you may be viewing a means to a new adventure.  Have fun!

Knight of Wands

This gent is full of dynamism and energy and he makes things happen!  This can be a force in your life, or a person.  Keep an eye out for the people that inspire you to transform your life.

Remember that the tarot really loves action.  There are some cards for rest as well, but mostly, tarot is concerned with change and movement in life.  So use these cards to your advantage!
