The Road Opener Spread: Clear Obstacles and Find Your Path Forward

Sometimes we face roadblocks and we need to know how to power through them or move around them.  That’s why road opening as a concept is so popular, both in Hoodoo and the general magickal community.  Life is filled with lessons to learn, but it isn’t meant to be a slog.  And anything we can do to make things easier for ourselves is a part of the lesson as well!

Use this reading when you’re stuck and don’t know which way to go.  Read from the bottom up, and follow the lines that the cards make.  For example, you can start at the bottom and read up the left side for one possible solution, or the right side for another possible solution.  You can then read up through the center to see even more possibilities.  Each possible solution has 2 possible helpers, and 3 possible outcomes.  Likewise, each helper has 2 possible outcomes.
